I think the passion never died, TwoDoggs. It got tired. Teaching became a job with rules, demands, and people measuring everything.
Now nobody is assigning the curriculum. You can teach what actually matters to you—AA, friendship, humor, Ramana, gratitude, death, love, and all the strange stories you’ve collected.
The Englishman may have struck the match, but the fire was already there.
